RTS Communications were approached by DLA Piper to install a computer network into a court room in London. The existing infrastructure was insufficient for the client needs.
RTS managed the installation of 2 ADSL lines and over the space of a weekend, installed a CAT5 network infrastructure allowing DLA Piper to communicate live with their office from the courtroom.
The service was also accepted by the opposing legal team allowing both parties access to their corporate networks over secure VPN.
In court audiovisual equipment was also supplied by RTS to enhance the existing dated equipment.
The result was a cost effective and time saving exercise allowing both legal teams access to their own real-time data. The trial ran for several months and RTS engineers performed weekly maintenance inspections ensuring that trial disruptions were kept to a minimum.
