VITEC IPTV Deployment at a UK Film Studios

RTS has recently completed a VITEC IPTV installation for a film studio client, enabling secure cross-site video distribution between multiple production facilities.

VITEC IPTV System Implementation

RTS deployed a VITEC IPTV platform to distribute content from multiple sources across the client’s network. These sources include broadcast feeds, internal channels, and production outputs.

The system uses IP multicast streaming to deliver each channel once across the network. Therefore, bandwidth usage stays low, even as more users connect. At the same time, the platform maintains high-quality, low-latency video delivery.

RTS configured the system to work across both local and wide area networks. As a result, authorised users can access content at any connected site. Centralised management also allows teams to control and monitor streams from a single interface.
